LET'S DO BALLET

Yesterday, my mom and I went to Ballet Manila's Clients' Night. I'm not a fan of ballet but they really put great shows. I've been watching there shows since mom was introduced to this. They offer quality, educational and great performances from the best ballerinas in town plus Ms. Lisa Macuja itself.

Here are some of pictures taken during the event. Oh, sorry for low resolution photos, it's because I forgot to bring the digicam. Ugh.

The venue is so classy and chic.

While waiting for Miss Lisa Macuja, dinner time.

Miss Lisa Macuja, the world class ballerina finally arrived and hosted the show/ event.

Ballet Manila showcase their talents with three different shows.
Giselle, which tells the story of a peasant girl named Giselle whose ghost, after her premature death, protects her lover from the vengeance of a group of evil female spirits.
Contemporary ballet:  is a form of dance influenced by both classical ballet and modern dance. It takes its technique and use of pointework from classical ballet, although it permits a greater range of movement that may not adhere to the strict body lines set forth by schools of ballet technique.
Swan Lake: tells the story of Odette, a princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer's curse.

Got a chance to meet and greet Lisa Macuja. But the shot was epic fail. Blurry. :(

What I wore that night: Top (thrifted), Pants (from closet), Accessories (Butingting Atbp.), Red Ribbon Clutch (Mom's vintage), Heels (Parisian)

To end this post, Mom and I posing for the camera.

By the way if you want to see their shows, here are some of Ballet Manila's lined up shows. You may also contact them.
